YES a boob post

So I'm officially in the upgraded C family! Not sure it deserves all the hype it gets!First of all the bra I had to get looks like something you order out of a hospital catalog or the ones that come in a box and have a time limit like 18 hours proudly advertised. What happens after 18 hours by the way? Huge and official and so not sexy! I thought C cups would have been more exotic then this. In reality they are just huge road maps to Disneyland all vainy and gross and man do they itch! They should really just make bras for pregnant woman made out of caution tape!!! You know...hands off, no trespassing and under construction!

I picked up this bigger and better two headed helmet bra on Saturday and already by today I think I need a bigger one! I had to strap on the bra exstender so I could breath. Oh sigh. I'm never happy right!!!! And neither is Mike with strict orders to not feed the animals or reach in the cage for fear his hand may be bitten off!

If I had kept my private blog more exclussive I may have had the courage to post pics of the mondo evolution of my chest. So far it's been more exciting then the evolution of my tummy! And the grand finally is really what people would pay to see at Ripley's Believe it or not! I swear you would think I had a head transplanted onto someones elses body! I for real, no joke, look totally post op, porn star auditon, TLC freak of nature tonight at 9. I have boobs up to my collar bone and into my arm pits. The few individuals I have scared by showing them my plight in the past can attest! It's some kind of wrong I tell ya!

So here I sit growing things. A baby and two huge boobs! All three not so fun on my back, hard to cloth and all "itching" to just get bigger!

A shout out

I just have to give a shout out to the little song bird who landed in my ward! Mrs. Tara D. herself was a shinning start in our Wards Christmas Meeting. She has a voice like an angel and boy am I grateful I didn't start the meeting off by trying to make her crack up while sitting up with the choir! Yes I tend to do that!

Thanks Tara for sharing your amazing talent! What a beautiful Spirit you helped bring to the afternoon!!!! I knew you were musically awesome but HELLO!!!!!

Maybe some day after I'm done nursing, for fear of public leakage, and if by some miracle I can ever overcome my fear of singing once again, you and I can get together and sing a little ditty! Or maybe I'll just relax in the congregation and just enjoy the sweet sounds of you!!!Yeah that sounds good too!

For real people!!!She was amazing!

Took the day off!

Ever had one of those Sundays where you just needed time to yourself and you needed to take the day off! Well I cashed in on one of those days and totally took it off today!I skipped church not because I was sick or taking care of sick kids. I just needed to. A whole three hours to myself to relax, reflect and do whatever sure sounded good!

But when the three hours was just about to start, Cricket wrecked it! She put up a huge fight about not being able to bake bread with me and barricaded herself in her room. There I was, ready to be alone and I was having a stand off with a 5 year old! Mike and Blue were already in the car and late and I too wanted to have a temper tantrum at that moment! Long story short Crick was my side kick for the next three hours. I made her stay in her room for the first hour as a punishment for ruining my afternoon and being a pain. I sat in the next room having to listen to her ask every 5 min. if it had been an hour! Grrrrrrrr! It wasn't really panning out how I'd like!

I was able to spend time on line, listen to Church music and bake some bread. I also got caught up on the last episod of Survivor before tonights finale! I folded laundry and cleaned a little! I know it doesn't sound like the typical things one would want to get done when they have the chance to be "alone" but I just wanted to get ahead and that relaxes me! Still I had this nagging shadow checking in often asking for a snack or a game! Oh well. I guess my one Sunday a year I take off wasn't ideal but it still rejuvinated me a little and I felt it was worth it!

I was able to make a rock star meal for dinner with all teh time I had to prepare!I made Chicken Cordon Bleu and veggies and the hoem made bread topped the meal off perfectly! I christened my Kitchen Aid today!!!! I think I love that thing like a child! Check out my FAMILY BLOG to see all the yummy treats I've been making lately! I'm loving cooking lately! All I lack is a chefs hat!

Hope you all had a great Sunday!!!!

Why I love my girls today!

-It's way funny seeing your 3 year old eating Sushi with you and asking for more!
- Believe it or not they both gave me an awesome foot and hand massage with lotion yesterday! I think I have then sold on it's a fun activity so we'll be doing that more often for sure!
- I've given up on trying to dress Cricket. I can't do it anymore whit out wanting to post her for sale on ebay so I went through all her cloths and packed away the stuff that's not winter friendly. Yesterday she dressed herself in 3 minutes and we were still friends. She did look like she got dressed out of the "Lost and Found" but hey, we were both happy!
- An entire hour can fulfilled if I hand over paper, crayons and safety scissors! Ahhh yeah!

I'm loving this kid thing lately!

Side note...had a crazy dream I went shopping on Black Friday with Tina Fay! Cool huh!

Ode to Grandma's Spaghetti

Oh my you amazingly amazing bowl of memories and goodness! Nothing quite takes me back like a bowl of my Grandma's Spaghetti. It's like nothing you've ever tasted. It's woodsy and hearty and only gets better with time as the flavors marry into each other as it sits and waits for re visitors in the refrigerator!

This aint no " open a Jar" of sauce sort of meal. It's a chop and measure and remember how you felt as you walked into Grandmas kitchen as a little girl and sat on her yellow stool to watch her cook. It's a finish a bowl of it secretly before dinner time and still eat a bowl when dinner really starts! It's a reminder of the woman you adore and of her mom and of the story behind it's ingredients and measurements.

There are a few amazing family recipes to cherish. Ones that stir up feelings and emotions. Ones that totally embody someone special to you. This is that recipe for me! Purple Grandma will always sit beside me in the kitchen as I dice celery and break noodles and as I savor that first bite of her special Spaghetti.

As a result...

of the previous post I was inclined to buy me one of these babies!!!

Nice huh!!!!

I am soooo out of shape!!! I do NOTHING!I mean NOTHING When it comes to Exercising! I walked quite a bit last year but then it got cold and I hung up my walking shoes! I bought the stepper to get my heart in shape more then anything! I've had heart palpitations for years and it only went away when I was walking. So call me crazy but I do care about my general health!

I love this little guy!!!So small and compact and it takes up like no space! I'll use it while I watch Baby Story and call it good! It totally gets my heart rate up and I feel the burn like Richard Simmons minus all the be dazzled dolphin shorts! I HEART my new stepper!!! I think I'll name him "STEPhen!"

Thanks BROOKSTONE for my new boyfriend. I plan on stepping all over him!Don't report me!

Dec 3, 2008

hummm...

So here's a little conversation I had with my lovely Cricket.

Me: Wow girls!! Look how big the baby's getting! (as I lovingly point to my belly!)
Crick: She is getting bigger!

( I then turn around.)

Cricket: And your back sides getting bigger too !!!

And a little comment from the Blue Bird while she sits behind me in the bath. She likes to wash my back and I hear her start to sing a little ditty that goes a little something like this...

"mama's got the chubs!Mama's got the chubs!Mama's got the chubs!" (as she taps my sides and dances to her adorable rhythm!)

Gee thanks girls! I guess the scale wasn't lying when it said I gained 7 pounds this month!!!! Don't make fun!NO ONE likes to gain 7 lbs. in one month!NO ONE!

So yes!Mama's got the chubs and it's clearly on display on my back side apparently!

Good Morning!Good Morning!

Ahh!!! The sweet feeling of victory! It's just after 9:30 and I successfully have my hair done, make up on and a spring in my step!!!! What the heck!!! Who knows why but I'll gladly take it!

Kids are still coughing so no break for me with a preschool drop off today! I still have tons to do today so they will be in tow. So if you see me in Sams Club happily grab your pizza pocket sample and wave but keep a good ten feet between us! I'm doing my due dilligance by not contaminating a class full of kids but a store full of strangers is different when I have a laundry list of errands to run. Sorry Salt Lake Valley! I'll have sanitizer on hand! They really aren't that bad but This darn cought sneaks up just when I think they've kicked it!

So yesterday I bit the bullet and finished unpacking and got the Christmas Decorations up. I almost skipped it this year. It just seemed like so much work (a.k.a. too many trips up and down the stairs carring box after box of Christmas crap all by myself while two littel girls rumaged through everyhting as I yelled all night to "stop touching that and put it back!") Way to invite the Holiday Cheer huh! I swear I billowed over Luther Vandros singing "White Christmas" ten times. I was so a grinch and no I don't have a Luther Vandros Christmas CD. It's a Stars come out for Christmas CD I got at Taco Bell Like 12 years ago. Don't judge!

So maybe thats why I'm a little more peppy today! I vowed to not yell today and I woke up to glitter and stars and red and green all aglow in my home! I do love me some Christmas decor!!!

So let us all remember "Tis the season to be Jolly" not cranky pants magoo like I was yesterday!! It's a new day!!!!!

I HEART Boopers! MERVENS is officially closed in HB and I fully took advantage of 90%0ff and then an additional 50% off your grand total! BOO-YA!!!

Obligations

Have you ever really sat and thought about all the obligations that make up your life! You HAVE to do this, SEE this person, CALL this person! Do we deep down really want to? As nice of a person as some of you all think I am, I really am driven by obligation more then want! I don't really want to call, see or do anything for some people but I feel obligated to so I do it! Sad huh!!!!

It's been on my mind because I am getting ready for a trip home and a trip home means seeing a check list of family and friends that I don't always want to see! It's so difficult to enjoy a trip fully when you have to make sure you see so and so as to not hurt feelings. I just rather wing it and see where the wind takes me but NO! We have to see too many people in a weeks time! UGGGGG!!!! And it makes it hard for he people you do want to spend time with because it only opens up a small tiny window of time to see them!

Sadly this is more the case with family then friends. Some family is just plain boring and I'd rather them A. Be more fun or B. not have to spend as much time with them. AREN'T I A HORRIBLE PERSON!!!!!!!!! No need to point it out further! I already know!

Nov 18, 2008

To be this freakin awesome someday!

Thanks Karrilynn!!!!

Nov 16, 2008

Sunday!

Today was a good day. I sat for an hour on harder then hard chairs in the very last row possible in church. The only good that came out of that spot was I was able to make faces at Tara and be obnoxious while she sang in the choir and not be noticed by anyone else but her and my husband who both thought I was a crazed loon!Mission accomplished. I then was rewarded with a not so gentle form of a thank you by Tara herself later in the hall! Ha ha jokes on you... didn't expect all that love huh girl!

When we got home I was rewarded with leftovers and a clean kitchen! Who doesn't love that! But I will say I may have broken a "rule" to get such a reward....I had dishes left over and the kitchen got the step child neglect so this morning I was cleaning and Cricket was oh so kind to tell me that her teacher in church said that we shouldn't shop or clean on Sundays! I was mid sweeping stroke and had to remind her that it was ok because there was church music blaring in the back ground and I was thinking about what I was going to wear to Church so Church was on my mind! Think she bought it!

I tend to take "And on the 7th day he rested " too literally sometimes and do nothing resulting in my house looking like a bomb went off. I just couldn't do it today! She'll learn that it's better to be in harmoney in your own home when it's nice and clean then to do too much "resting" on that day off! No need to remind me that Saturday is a special day it's the day we get ready for Sunday! I tend to not need my shoes shined or my hair shampooed. I'm too busy doing all the other things on Saturday! Don't you feel that way most weekends!

I do love me a good Sunday! IT is nice to have a day to relax, be home and enjoy family! I just enjoy it more when I have a clean kichen.

Nov 14, 2008

wait...what day is it!?

I always ask myself that question each morning!I really never know!I have to relate the going ons of the day before to really know what day it is!Oh yeah !Bunco last night so that makes it FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I love a Friday! No reason really! They are pretty much the same as any day but tonight I have our wards Fab. Friday craft extravaganza and I can't wait wait wait to get that huge ordeal crossed off my list! It will be fun but I just love getting big things like that behind me!

So here's the pants update! I picked up a pair of Mama jeans at Old Navy yesterday. Not in love with them but at least they were on sale for $25. I know $25 is a great price for Maternity jeans but I never pay that much for jeans...EVERRRRRR!!!! Need I remind you all I am the Queen of Cheap!!!Steph may be the Queen of the Universe but I take the title for CHEAP! So it hurt to fork out the dough. So far I've been getting by with my "fat" jeans, rubber bands and ( don't throw stones sister!!! BOO HATES that I shop in the kids department!) jeans size 14 and 16 that have that oh so lovely elastic adjustable waist band for kids! I do have a few pair of mama jeans but those are for later in the growing process.

WELLLLLLL, Today I scored about 5 pair of jeans all bought second hand from Kid to Kid the childrens consingment store!Last time I was there I noticed they sold maternity and it's really been the best find ever! All in great shape and if worn like most preggo pants they only fit for a few months and then rendared useless and sworn at and begrudgingly packed away! So 3 jeans, 1 cord, one jean short and a jean jacket later I walked away only spending $41. That's more like it! So all my other friends who have growing bellies as well adn if you aren't icked out by second hand...it's calle dwashing them girls, then see if your local K to K has anything to offer! I may be cheap but I hate even more spending $$ on cloths I can't wear very long!

Miek has this weekend off so we have a londry list of things to get done before we head to CA next week! I love a busy weekend! It always makes for a great nights sleep on Saturday and crazy car conversations with teh kids!

Happy weekend everyone!

Ode to Mr. Rubber Band

The sun rises once again and there I lie in bed snug and warm ready to greet a new day!!! I awake with much optimism ! I tell myself that "Yes!" today my pants will fit yet again one last time and to my surprise they do. A snug fit I will admit but looking close you all would notice that success was had in the form of a button wedged in tight to it's sister button hole! Hallelujah! Praises Be!

I proceed with my morning routine of kids, emails and a glance in the kitchen for something to eat. Nothing sounds good once again! But little sister inside is in need of that little thing we call nutrients to grow and thrive and I give in to the nagging mothering instinct that forces one to eat when that's the last thing they really want to do.

By 10 am I'm feeling the strain. Not on my legs or on my back but on my waist line! That little breakfast has quickly moved in on baby territory and it's roommate status is causing the land lord to walk funny! My morning success is soon down the drain and the reserve rubber band I place on my wrist is put to work! From then on I'm forced to pull and adjust my britches all day. My zipper never stays up and I just plane hate pants in general! Come on Mr. Rubber Band! DO your job! Keep me out of maternity pants for as long as you can! I beg of you PLEASE!!!!

Mr. Rubber Band and some pants get along better then most but today I picked an arch enemy! Would it be ok to add yet another rubber band making a chain of sorts! Maybe two is better then one!

Oh rats! I just need to give in. Horribly ugly! Never fit right! Nasty kangaroo pouch pants are just around the corner! Maternity pants have to be the worst thing on earth right now in my little world. I have yet to find a pair that doesn't look like the are about to fall off and expose my ever widening rear end! I tug and pull for the last 4 months and maybe at about a week before the arrival I can "fit" a pair properly.

So thanks Mr. Rubber Band for the limit service rendered. I wish you could have stayed longer!

Here is the much awaited preggo shot. I just look fat in the barral and if you were to rub my "baby bump" you'd probably just be carressing the blue berry bagle and cream cheese I ate this morning! I'll be pop popping soon don't worry!
and oh... can I just be annoyed right now!!!! Have you ever sat by someone telling a story to someone else that was soooooo wrong! ( Don't forget I'm overly annoyed while pregnant so it took all I had to not turn around, correct this lady and finish chewing!)

She was telling her friend that she had to read the book "Tuesdays with Morrie." She goes on to tell her that it's about this guy who has cancer who is a professor and had this famous "Last Lecture!" She then goes on to tell details of the lecture and says he really wrote it for his kids becasue they were to young to understand!

Come on moron!!! Stop mixing up two different things! She apparently Tivoed two seperate Oprahs years apart from each other and watched them back in her sleep and morphed the book and this gentalmans experiance together!

I wanted to correct her so badly but who wants a cross pregnat woman with cream cheese "smear" on the corner of her mouth telling you your an idiot! ( for real Enstine Bagel !Do we really need to call it a "SMEAR!")

Anyway! I'm aweful! I know!

Hurts my heart

I keep getting email after email or articles sent to me about the Protest of the Prop 8 results. I can completely understand the feelings on the opposing side and even appreciate some form of rallying together to voice disappointment! Would I want my right to do the same, of course.

The part that hurts the most is the outright defacement of my sacred place of worship, A Temple held in high regard to my faith. It's going too far when you litter the gates and write on the walls. When hateful words and slogans are directly attacking My faith, that need I remind you, was not the only faith that supported the Proposition. We are an easy target and everyone knows it!

Why are we the lucky Christian denomination that gets singles out and persecuted for standing up to an issue that we feel so strongly about. The Mormons are a small percentage of CA residence yet we are the target of vandalism and Religious mocking.

If we were any other religion this would be more appalling to the eyes of those who watch this unfold. Had a Jewish Synagogue or a Catholic Cathedral been the marching place of protests and had the colorful and hateful words been placed on them this would all be handled differently. A hate crime, never allowed to go so far. But no. We the Mormons are not privileged to such concern or respect.

Disagreeing is a wonderful thing. Protesting is a wonderful thing. Even being so emotionally connected to a cause is a God given right. Crossing the lines are easy to do I'm sure when in the throws of a passionate debate but let this be a reminder that some lines are hard to step back over!

Nov 7, 2008

A raspberry bar, reality sinking in, a good heartfelt prayer and some words from a best friend later...

It's a girl!!! yes! It's a girl! I wasn't able to say much yesterday basically because I was in shock! Not sad like it may have seemed but floored by the fact that it wasn't a boy! All signs pointed to BOY.My barf pattern said boy!My dreams pointed to BOY. My appetite said boy. The ultra sound tech said GIRL!So pardon my delayed excitement. I was just in need of a day to pack up my little boy dream of being his first true love, having a little person that reminded me so much of Mike and my dream of a son who kissed me goodbye just before he went on a date.

Shocked I tell you!!!! Yesterday was a wild one! I was surprised how the news hit me. I had convinced myself that it was going to be a boy and thoughtfully told myself and others a girl would be just as welcomed , and she would be, but I was convinced!!!! So I was just as shocked to be overwhelmed with surprise and feeling of loss for the boy I thought I was about to have! Again, not sad because I was having a girl but sad because I wasn't having a boy join our family right now! Does that make sense! I hope so because I never want it to be said that I didn't want this sweet baby girl and wasn't thrilled that she was coming to be ours.

Saddly I had to face a group of curiouse friends for lunch just after my appointment!I hope I wan't too annoying! I was still in a daze! But there we sat sharing tales of all boy or all girl families and knowing it was perfectly fine! Thanks girls!

I did fianily call my sister and she was quick to point out all the amazing all girl families we know. The Kriple girls and Crouch familyand the Hasslers came to mind. Christina comment that I was Almost like her and that made me smile! Oh to be like BBM!!!! I was so thrilled to look forward to my girls sharing a relationship like I have with my sister but add one more in the mix and it could only be better!

But my biggest source of joy came when reality slapped me in the face in the form of some wise words from a best friend. She reminded me that "SHE needs me!" I can't even write it with out crying. This sweet little girl needs ME! How on earth can you hear that and not melt and know that all is well and all is planned and all is perfect. A million thanks for that pearl of knowledge Julie. I will love you for that forever!

So please... no need for more "condolences" in the form of congratulations! I still wish for a sweet little boy to call my own but already feel a special connection to this tender third little girl of mine. A family of all one gender is special I guess. We must have something important to teach our little women at this stage in the game. I welcome the responsibility.

It's a girl!

Nov 5, 2008

Lost a battle but won the war.

(*** Please while reading this post remember that this is MY Blog!!!My form of journaling!I have a right to record my feeling of outcomes and events that are important to me!I am in no way looking for agreement or disagreement, arguments or insults directed at me!I have graciously respected all who make known their views on their blogs and would appreciate the same on mine!)

OBAMA? For real!!!??? I'm surprised his jargon wasn't in need of a translator for so many Americans!Did you not hear the accent of a Socialist leader at his debates or in him policy. Ugggg! He talks of wanting America to be Personally responsible but by all means let government step in and issue you health care fit for all. Let Government be the first to congratulate you when you oops have another child you can't afford. Let government come to the rescue and make self responsibility a thing of the past! Thanks!

I love how on this Historic morning Nations all over the world are sitting with smiles on their faces ready to watch the most powerful nation in the world become more like them! They need not wish us ill will or send Anti American Stink eyes our way! We'll slowly be stewing in the fruits of our labor thank you! Not mine mind you. I bought my right to complain when I voted! So here I'll voice my disappointment! I'll record for all my prosperity to read one day of how disappointed I felt on Nov. 5th 2008.

It's sad when an election is won by race. How many first time voters came out only because they had a Black person to vote for? Were the issues a main pull? No. Would I be feeling the same way had Obama been an Asian, a Mexican or a Martian? YES!!! If his race or religion were the driving force for any reaction I would have a problem, as would all of you who were anti Romney because he was Mormon! I totally agree that candidates should be looked at and judged by their platforms, policies, values and potential impact on my Country.

Oh well right! Roll with it. My middle class status may even be a beneficiary under his administration. La de frikin da! I'll be curious to see the effects of our Obama-nation over the next 4 years. So thanks Democrats, first time Republicans for Democrats, Obama supporters and McCain haters! Can't wait to see what you all did!!!!!! Hopefully I'll be proven wrong! Put in my place and shown the light. I'll be praying for the leader of my Country. I would never wish a leader of the greatest "free" nation to ever fail! If anything He needs all the help and support he can get! So today I complain and vent and feel better for it. Tomorrow will be a new day.

It's another slew of emotions that I feel when it comes to the outcome of California's results on Prop 8. With the Prop 8 win I feel a sigh of relief and a weight lifted off my shoulders. It was an issue of family values to me. An issue of parental control. I firmly believe it is the right of parents to teach the concept of family to their own children, with their own definition based on their values, their religious views and in their arena when they feel it's time. The issue was too important to leave it up to Schools, Government and teachers. Opting out of curriculum taught in public schools would not have been an option. Teaching of differences and diversity is important but leave it up to families to have that conversation.

Those who think it's discrimination need to be reminded that in Public schools Church and State have already been in effect. No talk of Christmas, and other religious Holidays, no praying in school. Nothing is sent home to describe the birth of Christ or Passover. Do I feel slided as a Christian. NO!!! I take the responsibility to teach my children my values at home. Is this issue not one more value we as families are entitled to talk about ourselves? I happily honor my friends who have no religious belief, my friends who feel Christ is yet to come, my friends who believe differently from me! This Prop passing allows us all to still be engaged in whatever we believe and not impart our views on the other.

So yes. Today I feel a battle for a leader was lost but a war against the family was won. If I had to pick witch was more important I think my family will always win! So for all the CA voters who helped allow us all to be the teachers of our own children I send you a huge Thank you! This results resonates across the Country!

Sorry if this offends anyone. I love the emotion that burn inside of myself and all of us! America still stands for freedom of speech and I'll exercise that gift till the day it's stripped away from me. I encourage all to do the same!

I'll stop now. Tomorrow bring new joy!!!! We find out what we are having and it will be a good day!

For Real!

Do we not live in the most beautiful place!

I swear this has to be the best time of year! I am in awe of Gods creations! The Mountains are on fire, the sky a contrasting back drop! The smell of leaves on the ground! It's all a little to euphoric for me!!! Recently the fall chill can be
felt in the air and I say bring it on!

Nothing like a cup of cider and a glowing fire to round out a fall night! I just want to remember how the world around me makes me feel right now!

So calm, warm and comfortable!

Fall to me means, Family, home, and Slowing down!
What does Fall mean to you?

I have Fallin' for FALL!

Sadly I wasn't off in Europe doing research or enjoying the time away from reality like most sabbaticals provide! I was just in need of a break!

Yet still my head was filled with sarcasm and inappropriate thoughts and like a good friend said "That's the best time to blog!!!So entertaining!" so apologies for not sharing and offering up my internal banter!

You all haven't missed much...ok maybe an awesome sale or two but it cut back my hate mail by not sharing but I must must must show off a favorite find...

Fun red j. crew wellies!

So cute!! all I need is a puddle! Who doesn't love a great pair of fun colorful boots! Winter Parking lot slush will have no power over me this winter!Watch out!

I did successfully talk myself down from a wicked " I must chop my hair off!!" moment. I'm pretty proud of it actually. I had no support! My sister was AWOL and my friend wasn't answering her phone! It wasn't easy and to be honest. I've never talked myself of one of those moments before! I consider it a huge accomplishment!

So that pretty much brings you all up to speed!

We find out what baby name list we need to start working on on November 6th. I'm actually totally fine with the idea of having a third girl. I have a great name to use so that helps! So we'll see soon with no disappointment either way!

Hope all of you have been well!

Debate last night!

Anyone watch it?

I'll get to the good stuff in a sec but did anyone else notice how much make up they both had on!Yeeshk!!! I don't even wear that much!

Ok... let's dive in! I didn't catch it all but I will say I was impressed at how they both men were able to manage slipping in the "When I'm President!" on basically every answer! Is that really necessary! We know what your working for guys! It's not like you are campaigning for "Employee of the month!" I was annoyed by that!

This is the part I hate about politics. They spend their allotted time talking about what the other one said, stands for or represents instead of talking about what they say, stand for or represent! Then the rebuttal starts and all it is chance for the "accused" to then accuse the other of even more! Ugg!This is why debates are so hard to really appreciate and get much out of! Just tell me what you stand for, represent and what you plan on doing!Leave the other guy out of it!He'll get his chance! Time is of the essence now guys! basically all I want to say is...

GET TO THE POINT!!!!

Where's Mom and Dad?

I'm realizing that some day my kids will ask this question! We recently had a virus on our computer and as Mike was reinstalling all our photos we came to a conclusion.... All our pictures are of our kids and none of us with our kids or of us as parents! Photo after photo of adorable milestones and antics of Blue and Crick but rarely a photo of us!

Trust me... I'm not the first to jump in front of the camera on Christmas morning half asleep and hair looking like we all know it does! I will say my hands arms and feet do make many cameos in photos but who wants to look years down the road just to see what my ankles looked like in 'o7? It's the same sad fate in home videos.

I'm convinced I am doing my kids a disservice at this point! They will have little to laugh at as they get older when they flip through their photos! No "Look at mom's ridiculous hair!" "What on earth were you wearing mom?" and " No way that was in style!" We all know the photos of our own parents that are classic! I can vividly remember a picture of my mom in a blue leotard 9 months pregnant with me! Classic!!!And one of my dad with a huge mustache and even huger glasses! I love those photos as dorky as they may be!

So to myself and all ya all out there who fall into the same category, lets do something about it! It's motivation enough for me to slap on a little lipstick or curl my hair once in a while and capture it on camera! I may look like a mom 90% of the time and 90% of the time it's not worth capturing but for the kids sake get in a photo already!!!! It really should be known that we didn't just drop our kids off at Disneyland by themselves or let them hunt for Easter eggs while mom hide inside!!!! WE too were there!

I really AM pregnant!!!!

So call me crazy, It won't be the first time, but I actually feel pregnant!!! It's hard to explane but I haven't really felt confident about this pregnancy. Probably because I haven't yacked a single time and yacking is a 100% no fails clue that I am defiantly preggers!

I had my second doctors visit yesterday and I got the reasurance I needed. I was completely prepared to show up and not hear a heart beat and be told it wasn't going to be a successful pregnancy. But there I was with fingers crossed and soon comforted by the soft sound of a rhythmic waves of baby heart beats! What a comfort! I even got to see the baby on ultra sound again!there it was this time actually resembling a baby with a head and a body and a kicking leg! So good news! I am pregnant and my baby for sure has one leg!

Honestly I have a whole new connection and attitude when it comes to this baby! I really felt a disconnect before and no longer is that the case! It's a wonderful feeling!

More good news!My platelet count is holding strong and I only dropped by 12! That's huge! We still predict it will go down but what can you do besides wait! It's still a constant concern and consumes my thoughts come blood work day!Luckily I am being treated at a Cancer center so I get my results in minutes as opposed to the next days! It's way easier on my nerves! Most of you know how HUGE of a worrier I am! Blood results are not fun to wait for!

I'm still losing weight but have even more great news to report! After my visit I was able to eat an entire Big Mac meal!!!!!! Probably not the best thing to celebrate with and actually finish but My doctor and I will take it! For real... you got to eat what sounds good at the moment and that was it!

So things are good over here! Glad to be able to post something that more resembles Rainbows and bunnies then Eeyore and rain clouds! I'm off to enjoy the day with my girls!!!!!

Nothing has changed!

So I've been on the phone all morning trying to locate a Thanksgiving dinner! I'm jonesin' for some mashed potatoes, turkey, cranberry sauce and green bean casserole. Wheres a Boston Market when you need one people! For real!I'm forced to drag my sister to a Utah Classic and hit up the Golden Coral for lunch in t minus 33 minutes! Don't worry! I called ahead to make sure they have all that I need! Soon enough I'll be diggin in to a pile of food that sounds oh so good! How in the world am I going to last 30 minutes!

Boo has been in town all weekend and it's been perfect! Poor thing has to be subject to my craving runs and yes we've eaten out like every day! I've cooked quite a bit too! Happiness though! For the first time ever I know everything I want for Christmas already! I've really been cooking a lot! I love it! Remember I'm addicted to Food Network! There is so much I need to be a good cook! I want it all and thankfully Christmas is in striking distance!

so yes I blog less! yes I stay home more! Yes I'm still sick! I'm not trying to avoid anyone, in fact I seem to be meeting more people while pregnant. So what if they are drive through attendance who have started to recognize me. But honestly I'm still alive and still pregnant. That pretty much equals me being a totally different person no one familiar with! Don't take it personally! I can't at times stand to be around myself so I spare all my friends the misery and just keep to myself torturing my family trust me, I'm no fun to fight with! My poor husband is a saint to survive this pregnancy! We may be done at three for the sake of our marriage ha ha ha!!!!

ok... I think I burned a few more minutes! I can pack the car, pick up Cricket and be in line for gravy helpings soon enough! Take care my friends. Happy Lunch!

Cravings

So yeah! This go around I can't remember ever having craving so intense. The moment I think of eating something I have to have it. That's all I can think about until I finally get my hands on something. And I don't always crave a food per say that is normal. I crave Steak Sauce and that red sweet sauce you dip egg rolls in. I crave an egg yoke or crushed pellet ice. It doesn't help that I also crave food network! It's always filling my head with next to impossible dishes I soon imagine for hours!

This was my plight last night! I was having a little down time down stairs and got caught up watching "Throw Down with Bobby Flay!" He was off to Nashville Tennessee to Challenge the biscuit and jam champion of all time! I sat there with my droll stains on my shirt for thirty minutes and was in a trance! I had to have me some home made biscuits and home made jam and I needed it NOW!!!

So up stairs I went pounding headache and all and got to work! Now have I ever made a home made biscuit you may ask? NO!!! And Do I have skills to just whip up home made jam let alone the ingredient in my house to do such a task? YES and NO!!!! Never attempted to make jam but oddly enough had a whole bag of frozen strawberries in my freezer!!!!SCORE!!!

45 min later I was scarfing down biscuits and home made jam and it wasn't half bad!!! I know I'm crazy! That usually never happens. I usually try my hardest to talk myself down from a craving!Telling myself I already spent so much money on food this week indulging on cravings only to find myself an hour later in line at rice king ordering the appetizer combo and a large order of chicken fried rice at 2 in the afternoon! I have no shame!

Hours of the day no longer pigeon hole an acceptable meal time! I literally wake up and tell myself " If I can just get to 10 am I consider that a successful example of will power and Subway is by far the best way to reward myself!" So it's subway at 10, an ice cream at 3 and an egg sandwich at 10:30 pm! Totally ok in my book!

So yeah! I'm feeling it girls!!! hunger and cravings are knocking at my door all day long! Do I fight it? No! So if you see me at Del Taco in the middle of the morning rush, afternoon chill hour or into the wee hours of the early morning, have no fear! I probably just need a churro in a really bad way! Thanks Del Taco for being open 24 hours!

Super Saturday in the works!

Anyone else on an Enrichment committee and neck deep in planning a Super Saturday? I am and we have a great one in the works! I've never been to one in this ward. Last year I skipped it becasue all they had were Vinyl projects and who needs one more Vinyl project! I've meet my quota! I was sad to miss it becasue I love making fun crafts and chatting and eating great food.

This year I vowed not to get roped into doing much! Unfortunately everyone knows I craft and to be honest our ward is less then willing to step up and volunteer to teach if they aren't on the committee themselves. They think that magically these things get thrown together and POOF!!! A Super Saturday!

So with time running out and a few personal tragedies in our own committee I felt the pressure and gave in. You should have seen me yesterday! On a hunt for supplies and with a time crunch of a monkey on my back! We had a meeting Last night where all we were going to talk about was Super Saturday! All over Salt Lake Valley I went and when all was said and done with one hour left to make dinner I had three projects done!

Thanks to my amazing sister and her sharing her wards projects she told me about this adorable Pennant Birthday Banner! How cute is this!!!!! It's 3 yards long and I have this set for a unisex choice and then a boy and girl set to chose from!

Then I made these fun snowmen take out boxes that make great gift boxes for neighbors, teacher or coworker gifts. They are made out of Chinese food Take out boxes and can be filled with anything. These are only going to be $1 to make so I'm sure they will be a hit! Cheaper things seem to do really well!

And lastly These 1.5 inch magnets made of marbles and scrapbook paper!

There are some other fun projects planned like card making, an adorable dish towel apron, bread making class, and I'm suppose to teach a pretzel dipping class too but not sure how I'm going to swing it!Hopefully I can see if someone else can do it or we can nix it! I just laid awake for hours last night trying to figure out how this is all going to work! You know me! Full of ideas but always get myself in too deep when I really shouldn't. Here I am trying to simplify my life and I do it again! Oh well!

I'd love to hear what your wards are doing! Maybe I can swap out the pretzel class for something more simple! And if you want directions for any of my projects just let me know! I love sharing ideas!

The one time I don't mind being late!

So I always grew up being late all the time to anywhere I ever went...mainly becasue of my mom! It was always so embarrassing and we were that typical family always late to church, meetings or appointments. Even my very first day of high School was tainted by my mom making us late! yes US!!!My poor girlfriends Julie and Starla were subject to the embarrassment of having to book it to our first class and walk in late! Still a moment I'll never forget!

That's why as an adult I've resorted to being early or on time as best I can!I'm usually the first to arrive at a church party, Bunco night or book club meeting! I leave with time to spare. Now I'm not perfect but I have defiantly made it a priority to be a punctual person!

There are only a few occasions in life where being late is ok...1. When wanting to make a grand entrance at a singles event! Yes I'm guilty of this one. I had some roaring good times as resident fun girl in the singles ward! It was always appropriate to show up fashionable late to a party.I mean who wants to be the first one there when the lights are still on and veggie dip still stands beautifully piled high in the bowl! 2. When you sneak in to early morning seminary before 15 minutes passes!!! Lucky you it's still counted as an attendance and luckier you, you got out of 14 minutes of early morning seminary!!!!!( this is a department I was happy to be late in as often as I could get away with! don't tell my Sunday School kids!) and 3. When you're trying to get pregnant!

So Far in life I've been able to master all three of those exceptions!Yes I partied as a single gal! Yes I had my fair share of warnings in Seminary and Yes I mastered the art of Being late once again! For sure the first two yield a faster positive return. The third one always seems to take too long in my book to enjoy the fruits of my hard labor!!! I'll have to wait till April 6th, official due date, or a few weeks sooner, based on tradition, to see my hard work pay off!!!!! Or should I say Mikes hard work!He He!!!

A few answers for a few burning questions I'm sure! Magically I'm still as fertile as ever! I literally take my cloths off and I get knocked up! I know that's not the norm and I consider it a huge blessing! I think it's my reward for having horrible and worrisome pregnancies. I have to have all my ducks in a row in order to even consider getting pregnant. I am under a high risk ob and hematologists care to manage my blood disorder while pregnant. Numbers are down already from April but still in a very good range for now!

I have yet to Yack!!!!That's cause for a parade I tell you! The yuckiest have defiantly made themselves comfortable! I have NEVER felt so exhausted and so yuck! Still , knock on wood I keep it all down!I seriously hate that part of being a fetus host! no huge cravings...but I will say I have an aversion to candy and sweets and feel drawn to vinegar, briny things and steak sauce! Not sure what that means!

Yes I want a boy!Yes I want a mini Mike!Yes I want Blue to invade our home!Yes I'd be sad if It wasn't a Boy!Yes I'm hoping for a son! I'd rather buy a truck then a dolly! There I said it!

Ok! Sooo that's me making our big announcement! Here is all I ask from you in return...

- Don't make fun of my hair that is in such drastic need of coloring! I'll get to it in a few weeks when the 1st tri is over!

- My house looks the way it does becasue I probably didn't get a bra on until almost 5 o'clock because laying in bed doesn't make me dizzy.

- yes my kids got themselves dressed!

- Yes I was probably home when you knocked on my door but again... I didn't have a bra on!

- My hair will probably only be done on Sundays if I can talk myself into attempting church or on Bunco nights!

- I'm not a flack! I just forget nearly everything when I'm pregnant!

- And yes. My boobs are bigger. Please all try to make a mental note of what Becca really is capable of. There are only three times in my life I get to look like this! Soak it in!

Furniture hunting will be the death of me!

So another failed attempt at furniture shopping this weekend! I swear we'll have a mattress on the floor for another year! I HATE, Loath, Dread, and despise furniture shopping! Nothing out there is doing it for us! And I wouldn't say we are that picky. A black set! That's all we need! When we think we find a bed we like, we hate the dressers. Then we find dressers we love but they won't sell us just the dresser! And the lone unique chest of drawers we want to mix it up with has yet to be made! Ok so we may have a tall order trying to find a bed and a dresser in black and then a different chest of drawers.Oh this process makes my head spin!

AND... were shopping for anew mattress! The one we have sucks! Luckily we can take it back but the next one we buy will for sure not have that option so I better Love it! I thought I loved the one we have now but after one nights sleep I was ready to toss it! A year later I'm still hating it and finally insisting we upgrade!

What I wouldn't give to walk in to my bedroom and see it furnished and have the softest bed ever to welcome me each night! Oh that would be such a dream!!1Instead I live a nightmare!!!!

Bunco= Happiness!!!

I love love love Bunco night! Once a month I get a chance to join the funnest group of girls and just relax, eat amazing food and get our bunco on!!! I have missed the last two months so I was craving a Bunco get together! Last night did not disappoint! I meet this group of girls almost exactly a year ago and I can't thank Erin enough for inviting me to my first night!!!

Kim hosted and she's such a great host!!! Her house was to die for first of all!!Such a great decorator and dinner was so good! I had two helpings and snacked all night on the salad! Her prizes were adorable! She recently got hooked on Fly Lady so her prizes all had cleaning themes! How funny is that! Thanks Kim for a great night!

I love the conversations we have! We talked about "yeah right those Chinese gymnasts are 16!!," Swingers in Utah, cleaning "zones", points and What everyones been hearing about peoples take on Bunco!

So what's the local buzz on Bunco in your area? People think it's a good thing? too clickie? like gambling? I would love to hear what you all think!

I love it so much!!! All of us who come are for it obviously. We pay $5 each time and get a wonderful meal out of it and possible a prize! HELLO!!!! who can get a meal for $5!!!! I see no harm in it! Especially becasue this group in particular is made up of so many girls who in one way or another know someone but not necessarily the entire group when they started!Maybe becasue I'm sooooo not easily offended I hate to hear the excuse that people don't like it becasue it excludes people! WHO CARES!!!!! People need to understand that not everyone can host 45 people in a home just to not hurt feelings! I have to admit... I too have put off having a party because I just couldn't narrow down my guest list without hurting feelings! I need to get over that at some point...'cause in the end I DON"T have ANY party and where's the fun in that!

If people don't get invited it's not becasue they weren't liked! It may have just been space or the group dynamics that helped make up a guest list! Again....I could care less if I got invited to the ladies movie night or lunch with the girls or not! I know that's not always the case!Anywho... That was sort of a rant!Forgive!!!! I tend to do that some times!

ok... I'm done!

Slowest week ever!!!

Last week seemed to fly by and now this!!! Slower then slow!!! I swear it felt like Friday should have been here three days ago!!! I'm hoping by saying this this week that the universe will pay me back and have fast moving weeks in teh future!!! For sure it makes a slower week when I have a 4 year old asking me every day if preschool is starting today!!!Talk about cute but annoying all at the same time!Poor thing! She just wants to start already! And with Mike having school this weekend it feels like my weekend really won't feel like a weekend! So my Thursday actually feels like a Wednesday!ARGGGG!!!

Nothing new to report! I still hate cooking in the summer! I try my hardest to not use my oven so that limits my creativity! What on earth are you guys cooking for dinners these days!!! I need some help!!!

I got all my baby cloths up on my blog and my etsy shop so check 'em out!boy stuff to!!! I'm pretty excited at how the boy stuff turned out! I love my little tie onsies!

I'm feeling the need to chop my hair!!! NOOOOO!!!!This in the past has proven a hard thought to kick!!! I'm sooooo wanting long hair for once in my life and I never get it past this length!!! I itch for a change and good by locks!!! Send me good vibes for not chopping!!! I should hide my scissors! Honestly I'm a freak when it comes to cutting my own hair!My sister and roommates can all attest to that! ok... off to occupy my mind!!!

Aug 8, 2008

Friday already!

Gotta love that! Weeks seem to creep by and then on occasion they come and go and it was all a blur! I swear I haven't stopped! I've been so busy I feel like I am working a full time job! I'm enjoying it I think but man I just crash at night! So this is the answer to my insomnia... sew two aprons, make 12 baby onsies, take the kids to the park, drop off a dozen packages to the post office, play in the hoes with the girls, work on an etsy shop, finish tote bags, pick berries, snuggle, make dinner, clean and plan your next day all in a 14 hour block!!!That ought to do it!

Today I need to go to the fabric store to get some more fabric! Because this sort of event always invokes pure joy and excitement I was up all night dreaming of prints and Heather Bailey! Fabric will do that to me! I woke up this morning exhausted because all I did was fantasies about being the umpteenth customer of the day and winning a years supply of fabric! That and treasure hunts at DI kept my mind busy last night! I know! I'm a dork!

So all you all...please forgive my lack of blog visits and comments being few and far between!I'm just swamped and I'm trying hard to keep a balance between getting all my ebay, aprons and etsy stuff to not over take my time with my family!

About the Feud! It's over! And sadly the day that it was brought to my attention they were already on the 4th and 5th show...AKA The show's I looked like crap! I was sick in my defense! So if any of you saw those ones please forgive the pasty skin, the horrible hair and the lack of life in my eyes!NASTY!!! Boo looked incredible thought!!!! Such a doll!

Everyone always asks what we did with the money we won! Remember we had to split it 5 ways and really after taxes it's not that much! We used our money on a boob job for me!!! What a waste! You can't even tell! Some may ask " was it a reduction!!!???" Just kidding! Those of you who know us won't be surprised to hear we saved it! So no fancy trip, no new "used" car!Seriously it wasn't that much cashola!! Totally boring huh!!! It was the experiance that we will always remember that's worth more then the cash or the key chain we won! So there you have it!

Aug 6, 2008

We're back!!!!

So I had a few messages in my face book in box and on my wall. Looks like Family Feud is running some certain reruns with a certain family you may all know!!! So if you want a good laugh, ammo for future reticule or want to see the dashing Mr. Peterman tune in!

We've had Mikes parents in town for the last few days! It's always great to see them! The girls adore them!!!! We hit up Tepanyaki last night!!!Not complaining!!!I love that place! I swear Blue ate her weight in noodles and and kept saying " I like that guy!" when ever our cooker dude did anything fancy!

I've been trying to get all my stuff ready to post on my etsy shop! I feel like I've been on hold whole family has been here! I got a few things done but I very well couldn't ignore my guests and sew all day and night! So I feel like I need to play catch up!

Lot's going on so I better get on it!

OH MY WORD!!!!!! How could I nearly forget!!! Let's just take a few moments to talk about my love of Mr. James Taylor!!!!!! I know! He's not actually in my generation and you may be questioning my actual age when I profess my love for such an" on the verge of geriatrics" singer!!!! But I HEART JT!!!!

Mike and I got a-ma-zing tickets for his concert on Monday! Front and center! I don't know what it is but every concert I have ever been to I instantly fall in love with the singer when they walk on stage. No matter how old, how over weight or how inconceivable the return affection could possible be, there I stand star struck and fantasysing about them spotting me in the crows and calling me up on stage to sing "Cha cha cha" with him!!! It happens every time!

James Taylor was no exception. Bald head, crazy eyes and I I was in love!! He put on an amazing show and even Mike loved it! So glad I went!We almost didn't!

Ok...So know I've fed you all enough dish on me for the day! You can laugh at my horrible answers on Family Feud and mock me for my love of the elderly who rock the guitar and sound amazing live!!!!

Give it a year!

That's what everyone said!Give Utah a year and we have officially been here a year! Yesterday marked our one year anniversary in our home! Time really flew by!

When all is said and done we have no regrets! We miss our beach, our family, our friends and our weather but we gained so much! Thanks to everyone who have made this last year so wonderful!!!!

Jul 31, 2008

Score!!!

Look what I just found in my inbox!!!!Thanks to a very talented friend named AMBER, I now have this awesome desk top calender! Isn't it adorable!!!Thanks Amber! I love love love it!!!!

So I survived my first tent sale today! Just barely! I have never seen so many woman going crazy over stockings and ripped up linens! Down East had a tent sale and that means all the crazies in the Valley came with their games faces on!!!I too was prepared to throw an elbow or hold on a little tighter then socially accepted just to snag an item I had my eye on! I wasn't afraid to hold my own and to be honest it took all I had not to leap inside a huge box trying to reach a baby onsie! At one point I took my keys out, and started breaking down the box so I could get to the good stuff!!! Madness I tell ya!!!

The funny part is I have no idea what I actually bought!!! It was fill a bag so you just started throwing things in and hopefully when you get home your "WOW that was so worth it" pile is bigger then your "What the crap was I grabbing" pile!

Have you ever seen those news clips of crazy woman waiting at the door of a bridal shop in a mob and then being let lose to ravage the contents of a sale? That's basically the idea!

Don't worry... No child was harmed in the making of this journey to the TENT sale!!! My neighbor was kind enough to protect the children from the evils of women and baby sat for me!!!Thank goodness! Car seats were covered and I wasn't worried about kids wondering the parking lot or being covered in tossed and discarded bedding!

So I have a lot of sorting ahead of me! Now don't any of you go and report me to OPRAH as a hoarder! I buy all this stuff to resale on eBay! It's my part time job I needed to support my Sonic habit and addiction to expensive fabric!

Jul 29, 2008

A Little Vaca!!!

Ahhh yes!! Nothing like having a hubby gone and letting your house go to pot! With Mike in Provo all week I am taking full advantage of the situation and loving it! Cereal for dinner anyone!?

The girls are hankering down with me each night in my big bed so nights aren't too bad! I sew, do my ebay thing and sew some more! I love not putting my sewing machine away each night or doing my mad dash to clean the house at 5:15 each day! Theses are the days!

And talk about a great day yesterday!!After play group I barely made it to Subway with out eating my left arm, I was so hungry! I love the $5 foot long!!! I'm a veggie girl but when I see a veggie sub for the same price as a meat sub I start evaluating the value!!! So lately I've been indulging in a BLT!!! You're lying if you can say you don't love Bacon!!!

THEN!!!! I called my fav fabric store and got the news I've been waiting for all summer! HEATHER BAILY fabric was in!!!!!! POP Garden is her new collection and it's breathtaking! Better then SEX I tell ya!!! I'm a little more obsessed with Fabric then the next gal but I just love it! It's way pricey but oh so yummy! I made an adorable childrens apron with it last night! Sadly I can't buy it as often as I'd like...I spent $30 on 2 cuts! Ouch!!!!!

Here's the fabric in action!! I have enough to make one more adult sized apron with the Pop Garden fab(Flower fab) So if any of you want to claim it it will go to the first one to let me know! Other wise I'll just sew it and sell it on my blog and etsy shop!!!

I'm working hard all week to get enough inventory to launch my etsy shop! I'm not having much luck selling my baby cloths on ebay! I think it needs a site like etsy! My goal is to have 10 aprons and 15 baby outfits by Friday!

So I'm busy busy busy! I can only be this productive when I leave my responsibilities on the back burner!Don't worry! My kids both still got a bath last night and breakfast this morning! I do most of my work at night!

So I will warn you... If you come to my house this week I won't let you in...it's a wreck!

I love a good vacation!

One Memory!!!

Something fun to do!!!!!! Thanks Steph!

1. Leave one memory that you and I had together, as a comment on my blog. Anything goes.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll check to see if you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Again!!!

Toilet Papered again!!!Yep!!! I got home last night at 11 only to find billowing trails of white toilet paper dancing in the wind from my tree tops. UGGG!!!! Seriously folks!!!Do theses culprits realize I don't yet have my personal team of teenagers to clean up this crap! It's ME who cleans up every last piece of wet toilet paper! ME!!!!

And my house is so boring to TP!!!I have like two trees and some hedges!!! If they really want to do some Damage they should do Angie's house!!!Way more things to get your roll stuck in! And for real!!!The first thing that comes to mind when I see my house is an internal cringe!!! All I can think about it how wasteful it is!As a green freak it just makes my skin crawl!!!! And HELLO!!! TP isn't cheap people!!!! This is so a sign of my age! Never before as a teenager would I ever have thought about the huge wastefulness toilet papering was or the sad trees having to be dressed in a coat of their former self!

So any of you who have us on your "To TP list" please cross our name off!!! I'm so over it!!!!!

Well I know one thing! It wasn't Tara, Jennifer, Shelley or Carol Ann who did it!!! We were all celebrating Jennifer and Carol Ann's Birthday at Marble Slab!!! Yeah for girl time! Happy Birthday you two!!!! It was a well needed get together and a worthy event to celebrate!

"Here's my Card!"

Oh yeah baby!I feel a little more legit now that I have business cards! I had written them off when I vowed to stop crafting but my intentions were still to do a few things like my ribbon boxes for example. I found a local store to use and display one of my boxes but she didn't want to display it until I had business cards she could hand out. So there you have it!

Those of you who may need cards printed, Vista Prints is very affordable! I ordered 500 of these suckers and had them shipped all for $21. That's a huge savings from the local bids I got for like $80

Ooh!Ooh! Ooh!!!!! I came home yesterday and found the funnest little package on my door step waiting for me!!! I had signed up to take part in a "Favorite things "Swap on a blog and I received my little box of treasures from my new friend Holly!!!!Thanks Holly!!! Look how she spoiled me!

It been so fun seeing how much alike I am with my new friend!!! Don;t you love how the universe works!!!! Put your self out the re and look what can happen!

Keeping busy!

So I know what you all are going to say! " I thought she gave up crafting!" Well I did!!! At least the stuff that was harder to sell. I have found a few new things to keep me busy and can be marketed better! The problem with my other stuff was that it required Boutiques and small venues in order to sell and I wasn't willing to devote all that time away from my family to sell it!

I now sell all fo my new inventory on ebay and it makes it convienient and easy to manage which was what I needed! And I still get to be creative and make the small "pocket change!" I need.

So I'd like to introduce you all to my new stuff! I now carry and make Pottery Barn Clothing for kids! I buy the Brand New Pottery Barn apparel and add custom designed appliques to cover the existing Monograms! The clothing is all in perfect New condition but becasue of the monograms they have been deamed unsaleable...that is until I get my hands on them!!! I have come up with adorable, perfessional and wearable solutions to not lettign a high quality garment go to waste!

Check them out by clicking here! More items to come! I plan on getting new inventory weekly!

I also have a collection of Personalized Pottery Barn Beach Towels with specific names on them! The odds are you won't all have a daughter named Hailey but you may know someone who does!!! Check out the NEW Pluse PB Towels Here !

Soon I will be adding my fun Apron Shirts to the Blog!!! You will all love 'em!! They are too cute to get dirty in the kitchen so I wear mine as a shirt!!!

Just wanted to share the fun new items!!!

Don't forget that my sale on existing inventory ends at the end of July so buy quickly and spread the word! Thansk again for all of you who have linked my blog or told others of my sale!!! Take care!

Bloggy blog up date!

You know I'm having fun when I don't take the time to blog!!!! Boopers and Emmy got here on Tuesday and it's been great!!! Shopping, eating and Boo and I just doing what we do best!!!

So the crafting hiatus is impossible when we get together. I took her to my favorite fabric store turns out it's now her favorite fabric store!!!Boo loaded up on Amy Butler fabric for some fun projects! I picked up an amazing new apron pattern and successfully completed my very first attempt at following a pattern! I will admit it was a preschool degree difficulty but I was proud non the less!I learned some new things! I wear it over a white t shirt rather then as an apron!!!It's just to cute to get dirty!!! I'll take a picture next time I wear it!

Emmy was a doll! I was so captivated by this tiny little version of my sister with big blue eyes and blond hair!!! I'm so used to my dark babies and chub it was a definite change! The girls loved her...well Blue was a little possessive of her space, mom and anything else that Em seemed to involve herself in!!! Blue was defiantly not her best. Man she was a whiner this whole week!!!

It was great having them here and we miss them already!!

We had our ward service auction on Thursday and I think/hope it went really well!!I seemed that people were having a good time! I was the auctioneer and about lost my voice at the end of the night!!!There were some really great things being auctioned off!I ended up winning a yummy lemon cake and cinnamon roll lessons!!!SCORE!!!

Mike and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary on Sunday!!!YEAH for us!!! We paid our very first babysitter and headed off to dinner on Saturday!!! It was amazing!!! I loved the time together and dinner was the best!We got Thai food and then went grocery shopping before we headed home!!!Now I know what you're thinking!!!Grocery shopping for your anniversary!!!! Does anything sound better then being able to shop with out kids fighting or whining or begging for this and that!!!??? I think not!!! It was great!!!

Ok... that's the wrap up!!! I am off to do some treage on my house!!It's seen better days!!!
