On Saturday my sister in law Tiffany and I braved the crowds and headed off to the Deal or no Deal casting call in Salt Lake. WE were so excited and had high hopes of it being an adventure we'd never forget!Well... it certainly was something we'll never forget. Standing in line for 7 hours has a way of permanently burning a place in one's memory!
We came to the conclusion after all was said and done that while it wasn't the most fun we've ever had, we are still glad we did it! No regrets right Tiff!!!
I got to the third round of casting and who knows what will happen. Everyone who was ther submitted an application nd has a chance to get called back but honestly... with the amount of people who showed up the odds are on no ones side!
We were shocked and entertained by the collection of people and surprised at how many people came looking like they were on their way to Home Depot or hadn't even brushed their hair! Come on guys!!!Don't stand in line all day just to show off your rumbled self! And people had their kids and babies with them. My kids would not have lasted an hour!!! I was impressed at their patience! But honestly...it was quite the collection!!!
The best part about the day was being with Tiff. We will always have this crazy story to tell that and we did it together!

How cool! 7 hours! That will be something to remember! I hope at least one of you guys make it, if you do, I want to be one of the family members standing on the side telling you "NO DEAL!!!"

Okay, I'm a dork and awlays forget to check your personal blog and look at all I've been missing! You are so cut out for TV shows...I love it! Austin and I and our brother and sister in law tried out for the Amazing Race: Family Edition and made a video and everything a few years back. Obviously we didn't make it on, but like you, it's something we did together that we won't even forget. Good luck!

Haha I think it's great that you did that! Kyle wanted to go and I informed him, "You do know that people will probably sleep there overnight in tents, right?" That would be so great if you got on!!

Many people, like us, came from hundreds (700) miles and camped all night. You wouldn't look so great either.

so ive been sick ALL weekend and had spring break all week which meant not much time for blogging..WHOO that i won!! for my service (which is on my friend kristen's blog)i brought her lunch, del taco OF COURSE, a box of food and took all 4 of her kids for a few hours--im excited to see my "good mail" and your comment TOTALLY BUSTED MY GUT!!
