I have family coming into town this evening so today is cleaning day!!!! I have to be honest and tell you I really enjoy cleaning! I love spending an entire day on it and seeing the magnificent results! I am really good at keeping my home tidy so when it comes down to the nitty griddy it's just a huge deep clean and that's my favorite. I get tired of the daily pick up but I love a deep clean!
My favorite room to clean is the kitchen! I love having perfect counter tops and clear surfaces. My least favorite is cleaning the girls room basically because that's the room that will get destroyed the fastest the moment it's done!
I love to mop! And I hate putting away laundry! So I guess you can say me and my house have a love hate relationship!!!

Do you want to come and deep clean for me? That is the thing I have the hardest time with. I HATE it!! I'm with you on the putting away laundry thing. I totally don't mind washing it and drying it, but folding it and putting it away...yuck! I hope you have fun with your family there!
Ugh. I hate laundry and dishes - it seems like they are a constant battle. I usually try to have a cleaning day on Mondays, where I spend a full day, and then pick up the rest of the week. Have fun with your deep clean!

cleaing is a hobby for me, sad...I know. Seriously I would almost rather clean my house (deep clean especially) than do anything else. I think it is the satisfaction I get from a perfectly clean house, although it never stays that way long! I try to pick up every room each day and then each day of the week I have a room or a few rooms that I deep clean...well at least that is the way I would like it to work, it seldom does. My fav is the kitchen too, I deep clean that everyday! I am addicted to bleach, so my house always smells like a swimming pool! My least favorite is folding laundry or taking out the garbage!
I wish I loved cleaning.I know my hubby would be oh so happy if I was! Whatever it is that makes you love cleaning I need some!!

Hi! I just stumbled upon your blog! Very cute! Thursdays are my cleaning days- that way I don't have to worry about it as much during the weekend (other than the regular pick up and tidy), but the nitty gritty is on Thursday!
I Love cleaning too! I'm always cleaning the condo, i think I inherited this OCD trait from my Grama... I pick up everyday and do laundry evey day, but SATURDAYS are my cleaning days. The husband works almost ever saturday, and I never do, so its my day to clean. I sleep in a little (like till 9-ish), take a shower, and then clean until he gets home!
Way to go on being so productive! I hate putting away laundry,too. I also LOATHE dusting. I don't mind cleaning floors or doing the laundry (just don't make me put it away)...
Family in town...definately sparks the motive to clean! What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Are they all coming in town or are you guys going out of town?
I love cleaning, too! I just had a good cleaning day yesterday thanks to playgroup! Woohoo! I always clean my kitchen first...then go from there! Mopping is always last! Funny that we each have our own specific cleaning rituals!
WHAT? you love to mop!?!? i hate mopping..maybe because i have too much to mop here...
i use to clean the whole upstairs on tuesdays and the whole downstairs on thursdays..it was the perfect routine and my house was ALWAYS clean..
now i just use my free child labor and make my kids do it! hehhe the benefits of having older kids!!
i will say my house is always picked up--but not always deep cleaned..i hate deep cleaning
hey becky i found your blog through julie's! what a trip to see what everyone is up to these days! okay so i definitely have a laundry issue that is so bad that my husband started to do his own laundry (which is working out quite nicely i must say). and ps, i have the BEST memory of you from back in the day so if you could somehow incorporate a way for me to leave it as a comment to a post that would be awesome.
