So what if I bought myself a Banana Cream Pie from Marie calendars yesterday!
So what if I couldn't keep my fingers out of it on the ride home and ate the whip cream as I drove past Home again!
So what if in less then 24 hours a huge portion of mentioned pie is already missing!
So what!

Tricks of the trade!!!
So I openly admit to a few things when it comes to my most recent Doctor visits!
For one I'm searching my wardrobe for my most light weight cloths at this point! Stepping on the scale in ballet flats, leggings and a long shirt help out with bottom line if you know what I mean!
I also usually have the 1:30 appointment so I try not to eat a huge lunch right before my appointment on those days but I guarantee if you see me driving post appointment your likely to catch me in between bites of what ever lunch I brought along for the after party!
Aahh weight! It's defiantly on my mind. NO pregnant woman can escape the grips of it! As I stare into the freezer at 10:30 at night wishing for an ice cream sandwich, knowing I shouldn't, but willing to anyway, I could care less about the impact on my butt. That is until Wednesday appointment time rolls arounds and I'm forced to resort to dressing light and making sure I go to the bath room before my feet touch the scale!
So I admit it! I have a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to trying to keep numbers down. Some visits it works and other visits I vow to show up next time in a bikini and having had successfully compleated a freezer fast!!!!

V Day
I love me some Valentines Day!!!! I'm not that kind of gal who needs long stem roses, reservations and limo rides! I'm a simple sort of girl! All I really need, all I really want is chocolate dipped strawberries! Not because they are my favorite, but they do rank right up there!! More so because it shows that Mike knows me well enough to know that that simple treat is all it takes to make me smile on V Day!
The girls and I decorated the house with hearts and paper chains and made raspberry cupcakes and waited for Mike to get home! I asked the girls what they wanted me to write on their Valentines to Mike and I got some pretty good answers.
Blue had this to say...
"Thanks for snuggling me at night"
" Sweetie Poop!"
" You give good swings!"
Crick had this to say...
"Thanks for sharing your Beef Stick"
"You have the BEST face in the world!"
Nice huh!!!
Mike came home with treats in hand for all his girls! He had a uber yummy strawberry cream chocolate cake and a single slice of Red Velvet cake for me! I didn't see strawberries but was too excited for the thoughtful treats to care! We gave him his basket of love that included his fav candy and beef jerky and then he pulled out with a smerk on his face my coveted Chocolate dipped wonders!!! HE IS THE BOMB!!!!!!!!
So even though Blue was sick and we couldn't do much all day and he had school and we ended up at Home depot and Subway for dinner ( By the way, when they say EVERY sub if now only $5, it's a lie!) it was the perfect V Day!!!Being together as a family is the best! It was so great lovin up on my girls all day and cuddeling my man while watching a movie at night!!!!
It really was a perfect Valentines!

My favorite Bread recipe
Here is the yummy bread recipe I have been using! I have had a few friends ask for me to share so here you all go! Sorry this is so wordy but I give step by step directions and tips when making this bread.
I absolutely love this bread recipe a friend shared with my. I have already cut it in half so the recipe I share with you will make three loaves. Her original recipe made 6!!!YIKES!!!
I use a Kitchen Aid mixer to make my dough and buy the Lehi Mill Flour. Cost co sells 25lb. bags of white flour ready to bake with for $9 and a huge 50 lb. tub of their ground whole wheat for I think $22 or so. We always ate wheat bread but I just didn't think we'd use that much wheat flour so I went with the white. BUT... I did go down to Lehi Mill on my own a week or so ago to buy a smaller 25Lb bag of ground wheat that I will be trying next.
This recipe also calls for honey and I buy that at Sam's club for $10 in a half gallon size. And it calls for Gluten, dough enhancer and powdered milk. I buy all those from the store Kitchen Kneads on Redwood right by where we meet for church. You just need a small bag all around $3 each. The other ingredients are typical. I know it was a little intimidating to see all the unfamiliar ingredients at first but this recipe is well worth it!
The only other trick I have found is that when you add the egg make sure it's at room temp and not straight from the fridge. I just put mine in a bowl of hot tap water while I gt the process going.
Here you go....
This will make three loaves of White Bread!
6-7 cups Flour
1/2 stick butter melted
1/3 cup honey
1/2 Tablespoon Salt
1 1/2 Tablespoon Powdered Milk
1 Tablespoon dough enhancer
1 egg
3 cups hot water
1 1/2 (Heaping) Tablespoons Yeast
1 1/2 (Heaping) Tablespoons Glutin
Mix in mixer with wire wisk attachment...
Butter
honey
salt
powder milk
dough enhancer
egg
hot water last! ( hot tap water)
Mix until well blended.
in separate bowl combined...
2 1/2 cups flour
gluten
yeast
Add to wet mixture in mixer 1/2 cup at a time until combined.
This is when I switch my mixing attachment to the Dough Hook.
add 4 1/2 - 5 cups flour, ( 1/2 cup at a time) until the dough is bearly sticky. I stop the mixer a few times and scrape the bowl to help make sure it all gets blended.
set a timer for 7 minutes and let it kneed on low (my # 2 speed). Thsi is awesome!!!During this time I totally get all cleaned up!!!
once it's been 7 min. place dough onto a floured surface and divide in three equal parts. Form dough into three loaf shapes and place in greased pans.
Let rise for about 45 min. **** I finally figured out how to get a great rise. While I make my dough I set my oven to it's lowest setting 170 I put all three filled pans in the center and cover with a warm damp towel. I turn the oven off and crack the door and let then rise in there. Check on them at 30 min. they may be tall enough to bake. I have had some over flow!!! be careful!
Bake at 325 for 30-35 min. Tops will be golden brown and they will sound hollow when you tap on the tops!
Remove from pans right away and let cool on wire rack!
Te Da!!!!!!
I have also made a loaf of cinnamon swirl bread by using this same exact recipe and rolling out a dough ball into a triangle shape, buttering it and sprinkling cinnamon sugar all over. Then you roll it up and let it rise like the rest and bake like normal! makes wonderful toast!

Oh...Just President Monson!!!!
There I was enjoying the Lakers vs. Jazz game in the Wells Fargo Box when I look to my left and low and behold, not 6 people over is President Monson , Jazz hat and all!
Yes I became that person!!!! I was gawking and then cared less about the game! I waited outside his box after the game and got a HIGH FIVE from the Prophet! How cool is that!

hummm
11:53 am and I'm still in my robe! Snow on the ground tends to do that to me!
I'm craving grapefruit.
I think my kids have eaten half the Valentines candy meant to pass out to friends...ok! I had two suckers myself.
shaving my head sounds better tehn blow drying it today... don't worry!!!!
I want to eat better but it's so convenient to nuke a corn dog.
I miss Mike. I feel in love with him today as I made him lunch to take to work. I never do that!
I have a fresh loaf of bread sitting on my counter with Shelly's name on it to thanks her. The question is will it get delivered!!!
I declare Monday night TV to be the worst night of TV.
Thursday Bunco night can't get her fast enough.
I want a massage. A real lay on your stomach, close your eyes and wake up a new woman massage!

Motivation by Humiliation!
There's nothing like public humiliation to get you to change!I have a dirty little secret and the only way I thought I'd change is if I aired my dirty laundry so to speak!!!
Speaking of Laundry...I HATE DOING IT!!!!Not so much the getting the dirty cloths into the washer and dryer. It's the folding and putting away part that kills me! I just can't seem to get those last two steps finished!
Typically my laundry room is a pit! I'll often dress me kids and myself out of the clean cloths in the dryer or basket and cleverly fold just Mike's so he doesn't bother me to fold. Sad huh! This is often what my laundry looks like....Don't judge! We all have something like this in our lives!
Those are all clean cloths just sitting waiting to be put away!
You can't even open the door all the way because I have stored stuff in there that doesn't have a home! It's seriously so embarrassing!
Well yesterday while talking to Step I voiced my dread knowing it was time to tackle the space! Steph also has a equal hate for laundry issues so we challenged each other to get on top of it and show off our results on our blogs! I'm always more motivated when it's a challenge or I can do it with a friend!
So now for the big unvailing!
And yes... it's a new favorite room in the house!I'm not freaked out any more if I see the door wide open in fear some one will come to the front door and peek in and see my deep dark secret! It's so clean I may just have a picnic in there today!
Ok Steph! I hope you had as much sucess as I did!!!

The Phone
I think my most favorite person in the world to talk to on the phone is my sister Boo. We can literally stay on for over an hour and talk about nothing all the while still being able to reprimand our kids, blog, watch a show or clean the house! I think it's our way of acting like we still live right next to each other and we've just plopped down on each others couch!
Yesterday was no exception but man is it funny to listen to us talk...
These days it's all about complaining. Leg cramps, nothing to wear, sleepless nights, cravings, how many weeks left?, you have a what?, me too!, What were we thinking... I LOVE IT!
Some times only a sister understands and it makes it all the better that we are utterly in the same boat right now! She's 4 weeks behind me in our pregnancies! Fun huh!
I HEART my sister! It sucks to be this far away from her. Thank goodness for the phone and emails and blogs and instant messages and Face book!!!! I'd die without some sort of daily contact! I need me a daily dose of Boopers!
